Dress your Size

One of the most important tools when learning how to dress is you. You must know your body type in order to buy the right clothes for yourself. Women’s fashion can be tricky, but with so many alternative, there is no excuse not to look fabulous, no matter your body type.

Thick in the Bottom
The goal is to draw as much attention to your waist and top to keep the attention off your bottom. Don’t wear dresses or skirts that are too short. Use v-necks or halter-tops.

Thick up Top
Wear V-neck sweaters shrink your bust and hug your curves well. Stay away from anything ribbed, or horizontally striped it will only make you look top heavy. Wear fitted tailored clothing. Clothes that are too big only exacerbate the problem.

Small Bust
Accessorize with layered necklaces and buy dresses that ad dimension to your top. Avoid V-necks or very tight-fitting tops

Big Bust
As with someone with a small bust, avoid showing too much; showing too much will only make your bust look larger. Choose A-line dresses or halter-tops.

Too Thin
Wear texture, the more the better. Use layers and jackets. Avoid very short skirts and go instead for flowing ones. Don’t wear pants that are too snug and always accessorize.

Too Heavy
Use wrap dresses and avoid clothes that are too loose and pants that are too big. Avoid prints and consider monochromatic ensembles.
